Wrapping up for 2005

Today is the end of 2005, was reflecting what have I done so far in 2005:

1) Work - Well, I job hopped and landed in a mess, sort of. More office politics and more crabby stuff.

2) Family - I think the best think that happened to me, is I have a new family, JY and his family.

3) Friends - Know some new friends, and some friends gone overseas. Happy that they have better prospects but sad that won't be able to see each other so often. And many friends got married this year too.

4) Self - Have taken up one more role, wife to JY. Think I am faring quite well, and hopefully will improve my cooking skills in the coming year.

Conculsion - I think 2005 is quite a good year for me :-)

Bye Bye 2005!!!!!

Work

Had a pretty uneventful week.. Come to think of it, I only worked for half a day this week. Monday is a public holiday and I was on leave on Tuesday. Wednesday, I worked in the morning, as afternoon, I had an appointment for check up. Then Thursday, as I got this headache since Tuesday, the doctor gave me 2 days MC. :-) So I will only return to work on 3 Jan 2006.

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... I am so glad to be out of office. Really couldn't stand the workplace. Think will keep a lookout for another job.

Hopefully 2006 will be a good year for me and all my friends.

Happy New Year to all!

26 Dec 2005

Yesterday was really a busy day, our dear Althea's wedding day. Woke up at 5am for makeup, dress up and proceed to her place at 6am. Then it is the sabo session for the groom at 7am. It was fun and the groom is very willing to play along. Then after that, went to groom's place and then back to Bride's place, for LUNCH!!! Yummy, although all spicy food but it taste good. Then proceed to Hotel. As rabbit, ming and me couldn't sleep, we went for shopping :-) and makan. Then we changed at the hotel room and went to the reception table to set up the stuff.

Wow. It was really a big wedding dinner. Total, I think there is 49 tables. When the dinner start at 8.30pm, I was glad that I can leave the reception table, for a rest. And dinner was fantastic. The food was nice, and the speeches by both groom and bride were touching. I love the sari, the colour is more towards gold, and the beads are nicely sew on.

All the best for the newly wed!

Busy December

Long time never blog, been a busy week, cause holiday season, and to cover collegues' duties. Many things have happened:

1) Work, as usual still being bullied at by the useless lady who has just been promoted to Assistant Manager. My, she is even more cocky then ever.

2) Personal, well, this is nothing much, but I got inflammation of my tonis (don't know how to spell), so yesterday spent the whole day at home. What a way to spend my Christmas.

3) Family, well, Daddy is back from HK and China, but only got me one thing from my wish list :-( Well, I guess it is better than nothing. Another thing is JY's sister keep dropping hint that we should give birth. Don't know if JY's mum really wants it or she wants company for Baby Cass.

4) Friends, have a friend who is hospitalised because of his swollen trotters :-P Doctors couldn't find out the case, and I surprised he and his wife, by turning up in one of the morning, uninvited :) Well, one more wedding to go, hopefully, still got voice and energy to last through out.

Merry Christmas to my friends. May the lady of luck shine on you all in the coming year.

Cheers.

Buseeee Buseeee

Long time never blog. Well, it is quite a busy weeks. Well, first and foremost is my WORK. New system coming up, so testing, testing and more testing. So more OT also :-(

Then followed by families. Daddy going on trip to HK and China, so got to prepare things for him. Well, guys are guys, reagardless of age. Since Mummy is busy with work, I got to be the one to nag at him, to ensure he won't freeze there, and also pass him my wish list :-p

And not forgetting my newly acquired family, JY's mum, sister and brother. Got to meet them for dinner at least once a week, and when they are here, I basically got to freeze whatever I am doing, including baking and cleaning of house, and mingle with them. Well, baby cass is still cute, but I suspect she is the cause of quarrel betwwen the couple. Let's hope they won't quarrel next time when baby is older, it will have a negative impact on kids.

And last but not least, it is my home 'sweet' home. No matter how much cleaning and vacumming, the dust and dirt can never to rid of.... :-( (JY, when can I get a part time maid???????) Okie, I know, wait long long. And the washings and cooking. Finally got time to try out the new receipe for olive bread. Hee hee, JY commented very nice, but I think still got room for improvement.

And Dec period, not forgetting the 3 weddings. Two down, left one more on 26th Dec. Really very happy to see friends settling down. Don't know is it me, or perhaps it is because I am a newly wed? I will recall events of my wedding day whenever I attend others. :-)

Memories, regardless of good and bad, will be there.

Have a nice weekend to all I care, especially those overseas. Missed you all a lots! When can we have a full gathering?
