Last day of July

Today is the last day of July, which means one and a half month to my wedding. Compared to my dear friend [whose wedding dinner is in Dec this year], I really seems like still got a lot of things haven't done. Hmmmmmm... but last day of July, should relax right? :p Okie, that's just another excuse to leave things till last minute.

Tommorrow is 1st of August, and will be National Day. I don't know why? Since young, I love to watch the fireworks, it is noisy, but very spectular. In my limited memory, seems like the fireworks during National Day have never been dull and the varities increased with each year. I think I am prettty lucky, I have been able to view the fireworks from home since young. This is an advantage as there is no need to be in the crowd.

With August, also means that both JY and I have to start meeting up with friends to distribute the Invitation Cards. Most don't mind me sending the cards to their home, but I thought it will be more sincere if I meet up with them. Well, another excuse to meet up to eat, gossip and catch up with each other :p

Oh, did I mention that I have signed up for Yoga and Pilates classes since July? Well, yoga is okie as it is very easy and slow BUT Pilates is horrible. I can't walk properly after each lesson, it seems like all the muscles are totoally used up...... One funny thing is there won't be muscle ache the next day. Well, for the sake of looking silm and pretty on my wedding day. Ganbette.......

MIA

Seems like a long time since I updated my blog... So sorry, busy (Well, sort of) and also lazy to come online... U know, got to switch on the LAN then the laptop. Well, quite an eventful week. Equal mixture of good and bad experiences.

Well, let's focus on the happier moments, I got into the 2nd interview, but they never call me after that. Guess I flop it again. On seond thoughts, at least I went into 2nd interview right?

As for my wedding preparations, well, it is every eventful! A mixture of happy and frustrated moments. Well, guess the journey is never smooth riding. At times, I wonder why do I bother to have a wedding dinner. To please the older generation but at the expense of my youth, my time, my money and JY's ones too.*Sigh*

Enough said before this blog becomes too groomy.

Have a nice day to all my friends, and take care!

Cheers

Wedding Invitation Cards

My Wedding Invitation Cards are READY!!!!!! The designs are nice and simple. But I think we printed too many of them :p Thinking back, I think we have been spending a lot of money on the wedding preparation. From the wedding photos to the invitation cards, perhaps we are too lavish. But JY really dotes on me, he would rather spend more money than to disappoint me. Buck up, winter!!! I will resolve to keep to THE BUDGET!!!! Wish me luck.

This one whole week has been pretty stressful, hopefully my company will pull throught the Audit. Good Luck to me :)

Sick Day

I am down with flu :-( So had to take one day no pay leave to recupperate at home.... But very fun... Mummy's off day too, so just need to sleep and eat, watch TV, and then just order my snack, and it will come within minutes, without MSG, clean and healthy!

That's the wonder of staying with Mummy! However, this wonderful feeling will have to stop once I get married.... No Mummy to pamper me while I am sick ...... JY has to work, so can't pamper me :-(

Well, in the meantime, more vitamin C and sleep will be the cure.

Blur Sotong!

This whole week has been uneventful, except that I met up with a long lost friend. He just came back from USA, and was surprised that he wanted to meet up for lunch. What's more surprising, he's going to be a father in Nov. Congras 'Garfield'!

I went to the 'Jin Hua' eatery at Neil Road to have lunch. I am really a blur sotong. There was a Q outside the eatery, so my friends and I were Q-ing up. There was this middle age couple in front of me. The lady looked very familiar, from the side view. I thought they were Amelia's parents. But when I looked at the guy, I hestitated. When they walked past me, after the meal, then I saw Amelia's sister, and I confirmed they are really the Wong's Family!!!! Really sorry Amelia, I will remember your parents' face by hard, so that next time round, I won't hestiate to greet them.

The eatery really serves nice Shanghai Xiao Long Bao! And because of food, I managed to carry Jing Jing (who is 16 months as of today). And she really can eat!!!! Eating non-stop all the way to my house :-) Looking at how the dad take care of Jing Jing, I confirm my choice of not giving birth till a later age. Don't think I can take care of baby yet, and at the same time, take care of JY.

Think my memory is saturated as I am down with a cold. I think more rest and more vitamin will do me good. Oh, nearly forgot to inform all, my invitation cards are ready for collection :-) Should be able to give out the cards before the lunar 7th months. And my wedding photos are ready for selection! :-) Going to select wedding photos!!!!

Well, at least something to cheer me up while I am sniffing away :p
