Wedding Photo Layout
Wow Wow Wow..... I am really impresed! Today JY and I went to take a look at the final layout. And Wow Wow Wow... I am very very satisfied with what I saw in the screen. It is fantatics! Truthfully, I have never seen myself look so good in the photo (Well, no eye bags, no pimples :p)
Maybe all the credit should go to the programmer who started the software to touch up the photos. And some credit should go to the inventor who invented the digital camera :) And a little credit should go to my parents, for giving birth to a pretty gal, which is ME!!!! :p
Oh, jus called a friend, and am sooooo touched... She actually took leave and postponed her flight for my wedding. Oh, must give u a bear hug when I see u....
Today is really a happy day :)
Down with fever
I am down with fever and sore throat today. So stayed at home and watched the VCDs.... :) It is really a rare occasion where I can stay at home the whole day and jus laze around. For the past few weeks (Or even months), I have been running around, settling my wedding preparations, my new place, my new job and sometimes for my grandparents. Really feel so tired and so sick. Kind of can't wait for the wedding dinner to be over.
Today's MC is really kind of a break for me. After this week, I will be busy packing my stuff so that I can shift by early Sep, I mean my stuff will go over, but physically I will be still staying with my parents. Wonder should my HIFI go over first or after??? Hmmmm...
Well, time to continue to watch TV.
Invitation Cards
Wow.... There are actually so many invitation cards to write and give out... Phew... Must start completing the distribution before the end of the month. Well, ya.. even though now it is the lunar seventh month, JY & me 'bai wu jin ji'. :)
One funny incident while giving out the cards, is one of our best friend (U know who u are :p) actually told us, no need to give her invitation card. She will turn up on the wedding day even uninvited.... Ha ha.... Come on... JY and I not so bad.
I have been very consistent with my pilates, hopefully by begining of next month, I will be able to lose enough weight to look 'nice and stunning' in my wedding gown. Well, it is only once in a lifetime :)
Oh, had a fun time with my friend last night, cooking up a storm in my place. Yup, JY got to wash up all the dishes :) Sher, hopefully, I will be able to bake the same standard of cookies, by following your recipes :)
That's all for now. Hopefully, can lose more weight in the coming week. NO MORE CHOCOLATES!!!!!
Finalising Hotel Details
Today met up with the hotel sales manager to discuss the details of the wedding dinner. Well, speaking to the sales manager is sooooo different, he can make more decsion and more freebies :)
We have worked out most of the details and one good news is that they have renovated the ballroom, so we will be able to squeeze all the tables in it. Hooray!!! Easier for the guests and easier for JY and me. At least no need to shuttle between two halls. But I am just worried that it will be too cramp.
Now I need to look for Mcees for the night, as the hotel is not providing any. Well any volunteers? :p
Oh, the manager brought us to see the rooms too, hopefully he can upgrade the room for us to executive suite. Very nice rooms, small but cosy.
Hmmmm... feeling the rush of the event now. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. Counting down. One month and 4 days to go ;-)
Wedding Dinner
Well, I must really admit that I am very absent minded. I remember that it is one more month to my wedding dinner but I forgot to meet up with the hotel staff for final confirmation. :p
So we called the person today, and as he is fully booked, need to arrange time to meet up.
Wedding dinner is really troublesome and time consuming. Troublesome because there are sooooo many things to prepare and so many 'rules and regulations'; Time consuming because well, it takes up time. Don't know what I am talking about now.....
Got to get ready to meet up with another group of friends to give out the invitation cards :)

Oh my. . . Time files, it seems a long time since I updated my blog. Well, this week I met up with my ex-colleagues :-) Very glad that they are willing to come for my wedding dinner. Thought my ex-head will be angry with my resignation, and won't want to keep in touch with me.
Met up with JY's JC friends over the weekend and well, gave out most of the invitation cards :-)
Oh, I went to Shangri-La (Hopefully I didn't spell it wrongly) for high tea on sunday. Oh my! The service sucks!!!! But the variety of food, Yummy! And the deserts, Yummy Yummy! :p Okie, I know, I am supposed to be watching my weight, but hey, my photo shot are over, so occassionally can still pamper myself right? Well, I know it is an excuse, well, so that I can glop down the food and desserts without much guilt :) I was soooooo full that I didn't eat dinner.
Well, kind of miss working in my ex-workplace, at least the colleagues there are simpler and nicer to work with. Office politics!!! So obvious that it is like a war taking place each time a meeting is held.
Spooky Lunar 7th Month
Oh my. How I wish Lunar 7th Month will be over soon ( I mean very very soon). It is such a torture! I am working in a Hospital now, and every now and then, there will be colleagues telling spooky tales (which are supposed to be true) and how the nurses can vouch for it.
It seems that most people believe in them. My team of 8 staff, have told me on Friday (5 Aug, 1st day of Lunar 7th Month) that they will not work OT for the whole of the 7th month. Well, my team is actually a 'mini singapore', there is a mixture of Indians, Malays and Chinese. The spooky tales have embedded into their minds, regardless of race.
Personally, I have a small encounter (hopefully it is the only one). I worked late today, as meetings took up the whole day, so only worked at night to clear the work. In my section, there are night staff to take over the duties from those in the day, who usually start work from 8pm. As I was working at around 7pm, I was the only one in office as all have left. I heard the main door opened. Thinking it was the night staff, (my seat couldn't see the main door) I shouted 'Hello, who's so early to report to work'. The moment I shouted, the main door was slammed! I jumped up and dashed towards the door, but couldn't see anybody at sight. As it is after 6pm, public cannot come in, and it is a friday somemore, only a few staff stayed behind, but till date, I haven't found anyone who entered my office.
Don't want to think about it, so I quickly packed and dashed out of office. I will support my team's decision and resolve NOT to do OT during the 7th Month.
