SUNDAY!!!!
By right, today should be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and happiness. But in reality, it is not a beautiful day.
After noon, drak clouds hover the sky.... Think it is going to rain soon. And received a bad news from a close friend, which leads me to think, karmic cycle! Tme to double up on my religious study......
Wedding preparationNot soooo goood..... Now I really understand what's known as generation gap. The gap is as wide as sea.... Well, at least my wedding gown is done, now only left the evening gown :-)
Hopefully, when the rain stop and the sun is out, all the doubt will be cleared! May the dharma be with my love ones and me.
Let's hope tommorrow will have a good and fresh start for another chapter of my life! I have signed up as a volunteer at Ren Ci Hospital..... Very unlike me? Well, it is also a good start to try something new :-) Now I am waiting for them to call to arrange me to go for lessons first, before I can start volunteering.....
Movie - King Arthur
Well, today is a day to laze around. Because it is saturday!!!
I watched King Arthur with JY, supposed to watch Finding Netherlands but JY prefer violent movies :p
The show is quite boring, a lot of talking at first then the exciting parts in the very end. Anyway, Angeline Jolie is very sexy looking. That's all I can say about it.
Went to shop around in Orchard with my Sheares Hall gals, well, didn't find anything nice to buy for myself (
It's the truth, dar!) We just shopped around, eat, drink and talk.

Movie - Ella Enchanced & Princess Dairies
Today is another boring day.. Spent the whole morning cleaning up my room, what a mess! Especially the stuff which I brought back from workplace.
Anyway, still managed to find time to catch 3 movies :-) Ella Enchanted, The Princess Diaries Part 1 and 2. Ya, one common thing, the leading actress is Anne Hathaway. All 3 movies got one common thing, the ending is happy ever after. Expected ending and nothing special. But if you need a good laugh, why not?
Ya, I need plenty of good laugh. Very bored at home! It is either cook or clean up the place.... Errr... Thank goodness, both JY and I agreed that I shall NEVER be a homemaker. He thinks I cooked too much when I stayed at home, don't worry, the one who will get fat is him not me. Cause I won't have appetite to eat after cooking up a storm. For me, I think it is too boring, unless there is a continuous free supply of movies and drama serials to watch. That will be different story then :-)
Okie, enough of freedom! Should start adjusting my mood to start work! Looking forward to go to the new work place. For Chairman/FWC, yes, I have found a job. I didn't want to SK to know as I want to keep it a secret till I settle down. Shhhhhh... secret okie?
Well, at least don't need to clean and cook at night. Cause can chat with friends as they all knocked off liao :-)
Movie - Stepford Wife
Today I spent the whole day making sushi.... Yummy, I tried the recipe for the mushroom sushi.... Don't know whether JY likes it or not... It is a surprise dish :-)
Anyway, I used the spare time to watch the move, The Stepford Wife. Oh my, I can't believe it! The plot is actually friction, with this old thinking where man do the job outside and the wife should be home, doing housework, cleaning up, sweet-tempered and basically a puppet to be controlled by the husband. Thank goodness, JY believe in equality :-)
Hmmm, maybe should read the book, seems interesting. The movie is nice, as it has a sudden twist of ending. Very unexpected.
Drama Serial - Good Luck!!
Toady I spent the whole morning watching the Japanese Drama Serial, Good Luck, which is also aired in Channel U during Mon and Tues. I am very lucky, my best friend has the vcd. So I completed the whole 7 episods on one morning.
I must commented that the male leading character (Kimura Takuya) is sooooo good looking, Ahem, I mean his acting is good. And the real point is the storyline took a twist, which is so unexpected. With my 20 over years of experience of watching Hong Kong drama serials, I didn't expect that there will be a sudden twist. Nevertheless, I still like the plot A LOT....
Thanks Ceres for lending me the vcd so that I can be spared of the agony of chasing after the show every Monday and Tuesday.
Electric Slow Cooker
Things seems a bit rushed today. I had to go back to my old office to pack my stuff, which I have forgotten to bring last friday. Then jus in time to celebrate my collegue's b'day! He should be 59 this year, wow!
After lunch, got to rush home to ensure I am in time to put in the ingredients for my peanuts and lotus root soup. :-) I used the electric slower cooker to cook the peanuts and lotus root first before I went out, so that the soup will be jus nice when I am home! One thing about electric slow cooker, in Singapore, electricity is more expensive than gas. Why can't there be a gas slow cooker? Or is there one available? Jus imagine the amount of money I can save if I switch to gas slow cooker. Hmmmmmm......

MTM shoe
Finally, I went to Leaping Lizard to custom made my shoe for the special day!!! And I am very happy with the selection, of course, with the help and advice from my best friend, Ceres. She even stayed on throughout the selection even though she was already feeling unwell. Get well soon, my dear!
Talking about the shoe, it is around my budget, and it has a simple but sweet design. :-) Jus sth which is of my character. (^^,) Actaully, we chose simple design, so that I dare to wear it in the future. Jus a simple reason :)
And one lucky thing, the MTM shoe will be in time for my gown fitting :) Things are progressing well, hopefully my new job too :-)
SUNday
Well, sunday is supposed to be a rest day but you know something? Things jus didn't go right on my 2nd day freedom!!! :-(
Being a good and dutiful wife, I tried to make raddish cake for my darling (JY) to eat but things didn't turn out right!!!! I was happily shredding the raddish and other ingredients and I almost cut my fingers! What a close shave! Then I combined all the ingrdients together and steam it but it turned out to be sooooooooo watery :-(

I think I will miss the days where I have to wake up early to go to work :-) Although it is already 12am, but I don't need to work tommorrw.

Updates on Wedding PreparationI will be going to make my shoe tomorrow (Finally!). And Althea, who is getting married in Dec (3 months after mine), has already done her shoes and most of the stuff. She is really making me panicked :-(

2nd last day of work
Hi all,
I am guilty of not updating the blog but well, I am enjoying myself throughout this whole week. I have tendered and tomorrow is my LAST DAY!!!! Yippeeee... Honestly speaking, it is not that I dislike my job or my colleagues. In fact, my colleagues were wonderful and I have found some real friends among them. But being in the same job for the past 3 years and 8 months, it is time to move on, even though my butt is a bit stuck (put on so much weight in the past 3 years :p)
Anyway, I should have more time to update the blog next week, I hope. Been busy handing over and tidying up the work-place. There will not be a new colleague but the work is redistributed to the pathetic 2 staff left (I feel real bad about loading them, but fate has decided that I should leave them).
All the best to those at work, and I shall miss my po po, gong gong, neighbour, Miss Xian Zai, Uncle, Pei-er and of course not forgetting the Chairman/FWC (the fiercest of all :p). I shall miss the moments which we share and the chili crab, pepper crab and tomato crab which we ate!
It is really hard to say goodbye but thank goodness JY is very supportive of my decision.
Sarawak Trip
Hi all, I have jus came back from a holiday trip from Sarawak. JY and I drove from Miri to Kuching.... a total of 5 days to and fro Miri. It was a nice trip especially the scenery.... We even stayed in the modernised longhouse at Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort.
We flew to Mulu to visit the caves. And saw a friend which I hoped to bring back but I can't (a green snake, I think it is called green viper)
I don't know how to upload photos... Help!
