Latest Happenings 16 May to 22 May 2005
Hi all, been busy with my work. Have been working overtime for this past week. Although very busy, but I am enjoying myself throughly...... A bit of office politics to deal with though. The girl before me wasn't really keen to teach whatever she knows....... Hmmmmm...... Well, then I will find out on my own :p
Anyway, had a shock today as I jus realised that is it only less than a month to go before my photo shoot!!!!! Argh..... And I jus cut my nails yesterday!!!!! HOW to make them grow faster so that I can do my french manicure on 17 Jun???? SOS..... anyone?????
I was running through my checklist when I realised that there are a lot of outstanding things..... Errrr.... things like food tasting, invitation cards, guest list (someone threaten me, must invite her, or else......), holidays, my facial schedule, my body scrub sessions, etc..... Oh no!!! The list is never ending :(
Well, there is one thing to be happy about.... It is a public holiday tomorrow :) At least I have settled my photographer, one thing down. The rest, well, there is still tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.........
For the more observation ones, did u realise that I changed the sidebars, with my fav and my friends' links? Well, finally decided to pick up my HTML skills.... he he... not a big accomplishments but I am still proud of my self
Stars War Part III
Yipee... finally got the chance to watch Star War! Had been revising Part I, II , IV, V and VI throughout last 2 weeks....... Finally waited the moment!!!!
Hmmmm, but I feel that it is not detailed enough, accroding to the script (accroding to our dear chewie who has read it online and don't know watched the movie how many times, excluding this one), there is a missing part (or more than one?) where Obi Wan look for his teacher and Yoda and him learn the art of immortatily together.......
Think the actor (forgot his name liao), Obi Wan, is (
sexy) cute looking .... A bit blur blur but it is the last part where he conquer Anakin, oooh, so man!
Well, I think it is Anakin who killed Padma. If he didn't strangle her in a fit of anger and if he didn't turn to the dark side, she wouldn't lose the will to live. Well, and true to the prophency, Anakin did bring balance to the force :p

Well, I started my work in u-all-know-where (sorry, read too much Harry Potter's book :p). Here's my weekly summary (sorry, really very tired from work, that I am too lazy to update the blog at the end of the day):
2 May 2005 - no updates... HOLIDAY!!!!
3 May 2005 - Very boring day at work, as I was being introduced to a buddy and the whole department in the morning. The dept is very very big, with 7 different sections, and the total staff strength is around 100 plus. Then in the afternoon, boring introducation of all the visions, missions and blah blah blah....
4 May 2005 - Being attached to the main sections, starting to have a grasp of what's the operation in the whole dept is all about. Very tiring as I have to run about, climbing up and down to retrieve records and all done while wearing heals. Hope my heals won't break so soon.
Something happy happened today! I went for my fitting for my shoes, and my dear friend, LostRabbit, went with me. Although she is late, and didn't get to see my shoes :p This fitting reminded me that apart from adjusting to my new workplace, I got to manage my wedding too :o
5 May 2005 - Attached to another 2 sections. All no need much climbing, thank goodness! The flow of the operation between the different sections began to crystallise in my mind. (Not too bad, right?) Apart from my attachment, still managed to squeeze time to meet up with counterparts from other side. Found out that Clara (from Amadon) is working there for 2 years.
6 May 2005 - Finally, being attached to the section which I am taking over. The Executive is moving on to handle new areas. Well, at least customer service, which I learnt in my previous workplace, is useful here.
7 May 2005 - Knocked off from work, thank goodness not covered with dust, as the desk were covered with thick dust, wonder how the previous Executive worked.
Afterthoughts - This new job is not too bad. Pretty challenging, as need to handle lawyers, doctors and sometimes even Police. Well, at least it is a different environment and the system of working is very different. Felt like I just graduated from Uni again. :-) There is another new Executive, who is 3 years my junoir, and had stayed in SH Blk E too.
It is a small small world, right?
Ganbette!!! Must rest well to work hard for next week!

Harry Potter
Wow... I am reading on Harry Potter books for the past week. I know I am a bit slow, but since it is free, why not? Here's some of my afterthoughts:
Book 1 - Harry Potter & the Socerer StoneQuite dry.... In my mental mind, keep flashing the scenes from the movie. Movie is nicer.
Book 2 - Harry Potter & the Chamber of SecretsThis is pretty exciting, and the movie missed out a lot of details.
Book 3 - Harry Potter & the Prisoner of AzakbanThis is pretty funny, especially like the way, the author highlighted the character Lee Jordon, how he advertist for the fireblot and etc..... A bit sad though at the ending.
Book 4 - Harry Potter & the Globet of fireThis book got quite a few chapters on guys attracted to pretty women, showing that although they are wizards, but guys still have the animal instinct in them.
Well, looking forward to book 5 now. I must say, the movies really leave out a lot of details, especially some of the funnier ones in Book 3.
Looking forward for starwars now :-)
